Mississippi State will have its first scrimmage of preseason camp this Sunday, as Jeff Lebby will get a look at his squad under game conditions for the first time since the spring. What would we like to hear from the Bulldog head coach when he addresses the media following practice? Brian Hadad and Robbie Faulk discuss some possible answers that would be happy to hear for the maroon and white faithful.

RE: Baseball transfer discussion, Instead of allocating money for portal transfers - just to watch the top targets sign elsewhere - maybe State should shift those dollars over to FB. As long as Lemonis is the coach, State will struggle to sign top dollar transfers. Give the money to the sport that actually matters in the grand scheme of college athletics.

It should be use or lose it. If you can't sign quality transfers and have a pile of NIL cash left over at the end of the summer, that money should go back into the general NIL fund and lose its baseball-only tag.

Lemonis really is something. No matter how low we set the bar, he finds a way to disappoint. To recap…

Pitchers lost:
Stephen - Fri night starter
Cijntje - Sat night starter
Auger
Dohm
Holcombe
Hardin
Davis
Schuelke
Cheatham
Forsythe
Miller
Haley
Files

Pitchers gained:
Pruitt
Hungate
Freshmen

Really amazing work there, and it appears that even when we’re willing to overpay with NIL, this staff can’t fend off Oregon State.

No injuries or arrests. That’s really the only thing we’d see from summer practice that would mean anything.

We know Lemonis can't compete in the NIL era - zero post-season titles since it was instituted.

Let's try to support Lebby and the sport that is most important to the health of the University.
