I did a little analysis of ticket prices for this season. I used the lowest "get in" price on Tick Pick. No surprises here...

Most expensive "Get In" price for B1G conference games this year:
1) OSU @ Michigan $490
2) Michigan @ MSU $299
3) Iowa @ PSU $230
4) OSU @ Wisconsin $190
5) PSU @ OSU $188
6) Michigan @ PSU $185
...
63) Illinois @ Maryland $7

Which B1G team commands the highest "get in" ticket prices for HOME games? The average "get in" price:
1) Michigan $135
2) Penn State $105
3) Ohio State $102
4) Michigan State $100
5) Wisconsin $69
6) Iowa $63
7) Minnesota $63
8) Nebraska $54
9) Northwestern $52
10) Indiana $51
11) Rutgers $42
12) Purdue $33
13) Maryland $26
14) Illinois $23

Which B1G team commands the highest "get in" ticket prices for AWAY games? These fan bases travel best for 2023:
1) Ohio State $255
2) Michigan $164
3) Iowa $141
4) Nebraska $111
5) Penn State $92
6) Purdue $73
7) Michigan State $67
8) Minnesota $59
9) Wisconsin $58
10) Maryland $55
11) Rutgers $46
12) Indiana $38
13) Illinois $32
14) Northwestern $28

The big boys continue to hold up the league in terms of demand.

Does the get in price for home games only count conference games or does it count all the home games?

More fun with numbers... If you throw out the highest-price game and the lowest-price game for each team, the rank of the Average HOME game changes.

1) PSU $96 (Iowa $230 & Rutgers $24)
2) OSU $93 (PSU $188 & W. KY $50)
3) Michigan $81 (OSU $490 & UNLV $51)
4) Michigan State $74 (Mich $299 & Richmond $35)
5) Iowa $63 (MN $93 & Rutgers $38)
6) Minny $58 (Mich $127 & Illinois $22)
7) Wisconsin $53 (OSU $190 & Ga Southern $29)
8) Indiana $48 (OSU $91 and Akron $23)
8) Northwestern $48 (Iowa $107 & UTEP $15)
10) Nebraska $45 (Mich $130 & La Tech $21)
11) Rutgers $36 (OSU $89 & Wagner $25)
12) Purdue $25 (OSU $93 & MN $15)
13) Illinois $22 (Wisconsin $40 & Toledo $9)
14) Maryland $19 (Mich $80 & Charlotte $6)

What's interesting is that every away game for OSU is the highest-priced home game for their opponent.

Conversely, Rutgers is actually the cheapest home game for two teams (PSU and Iowa) - even cheaper than non-con opponents Delaware (PSU), UMass (PSU), Utah State (Iowa), and Western Michigan (Iowa).

Illinois is the cheapest HOME game for Northwestern - cheaper than Louisiana and Eastern Michigan

Minnesota is the cheapest HOME game for Purdue - cheaper than Syracuse and Fresno State.

Executive summary: Rutgres sucks worse than UMass
