Well, it was fun. I had a feeling we couldn't hold it simply because we like to give the ball up when we have too much online. We have not been to situations as much as Kentucky has.
Offensive game plan went totally brain dead in the 2nd half. We didn’t work the paint AT ALL
Pretty good ROI tonight given what they spend on their team compared to us. I was entertained.
Typical Miss State vs Kentucky game at the hump. Miss State leads the whole game by playing well and faulters down the stretch,

You can't beat someone when they shoot 60% in the half, and you decide to get cold from the field.
As soon as I heard that, I was like ohhh nooo. Then Kentucky went on a 7-0 run right after that.
Yep. They shoot the ball so much better than we do. When our defense slacked just a fraction, they took full advantage.
At least they're not laying down and dying here at the end. you just can't beat somebody that shoot 60% from the field for the entire half and get that made more trips to the free-throw line than you do in the second half
We let UK dictate the Tempo the second half
We’ve had no answers defensively for them all game.
Only had a decent lead at the half because they made “only” 50% of the wide open looks instead of the 60-65% they’ve made in the 2nd.

The script writers really need to come up with new endings for our UK games.

Naturally the kid has the best game of his life against State. Always been that way and appears to be that way forever. Good grief.
It’s not a moral victory but it was a hell of a game. Both teams played well

Ah well. This team is playing about as well at the end of February as I can remember. That was a hell of a college basketball game.
