20% chance he rallies the team to an unlikely win, which could lead to a run. 80% chance we lay down after 2 close losses, and just get beat down. I’m thinking the latter, due to the lack of leadership on this team.

What an incredible fall from grace this has been, the likes of which could only happen to us. I’ve truly never seen anything like it. Complete with Ole Miss winning the following title. Rumors are rampant, from boosters to player mutiny. I’m actually excited to see what we will do today.

But in true Miss Stake form, it’ll likely rain the game out.

Thought you were channeling Trump in those first two sentences of second paragraph. Seriously though, I agree, it's hard to imagine many other programs this could happen to especially one with the track record we've had historically.

Even if we win today, we're still 2-7 and in a deep hole with the majority of our remaining SEC games being against ranked teams.

The whole situation just makes me kinda sad and frustrated. I feel bad for all those players who wanted to play at my favorite school. I feel bad for the coaches, who were on top of the world just a few years ago. I feel bad for the fans, who absolutely deserve better.

I expect us to get rolled today, but won't be surprised if we play another decent game and lose by a run or two. What would surprise me would be a win. This team hasn't surprised me positively very often this year.

I can't remember a team I thought was pretty good, possibly even Top 20 caliber, that has produced so many disappointing loses in every way imaginable.

Yep… it’s over. I’ll always like him because of the national title but he’s done and this team is done. They may win some games down the stretch because the schedule eases up, but I think it’s time to move on.

I lost my first account because I got banned for calling out Lemonis when all the signs were there that he was in over his head once he got “his guy” in.
Wish someone had the guts to do what needs to be done

Lemonis doesn’t know whether to **** or go blind right now. He‘s been harping on how we haven’t been trying hard enough now he says we are trying too hard.

He is done. I did expect this team to be much improved. It seemed like we should have good hitting and I figured year two of Parker the pitching would be improved. Outside of Pico the pitching has sucked. When you lose 10 to 8 it's hard to throw rocks at the hitting. Of course when the pressure is on in a clutch situation they crumble. But at least we aren't getting run ruled every other game this year...lol. Definitely time to move on from Lemonis. I haven't watched any of the games since Texas

It's painful to watch because in every game there is at least one bone-headed play that just magnifies the lack of attention to fundamentals and details by this team. To wit, a batter getting called out on Friday night for not getting set in the batter's box within the allotted time frame. That, along with continuing base running mistakes, are things you (supposedly) teach and address on the very first day of practice in the Spring, and then emphasize every single practice day. Apparently, we don't do those things. Pathetic.

Yeah I think it’s over for him. If people would stop going to games it would help
This is a flawed premise that only makes it harder for the next coach to recruit. The better way is to continue to support, but raise high holy hell to the athletic department. Emails, calls, social media, etc. But don’t take away our biggest advantage.

It really goes for any sport.

I don’t understand why some idiots on this board keep saying well this game or this series and we could turn it around !
That’s 17-ing BS!
The guy is who he is and the whole team follows suit!
A win or two here isn’t going to change
Anything!

I agree with your sentiment on his ability to organize and lead a team.

However if he finds 10 sec wins, he isn't getting fired.
