Good Riddance.
I’ll always remember him for crying after losing to Foles in the SB. 🤣🤣🤣

I'm reading that this might not be a done deal.

Good thread merge, mods. #subjectlinesmatter

Note that Brady hasn't announced anything yet. It's all the media falling over each other to report on it.

he just played in a time when it’s never been easier to play the position.

Yet teams shuffle through QBs every 2-3 years trying to find a decent one. Some every year.

For every less brutal hit that is not allowed today compared to the 80s and prior, you have 5x as many bigger, stronger, faster athletes out there trying to crush you.

Excellent point. I’d argue that those bigger/faster/stronger players are less potent since there are far more rules in place to protect QBs from bearing the brunt of their advanced athleticism.

Less potent in that guys don't leave with career ending injuries, but if you can't read a defense or make the throws, the amount of years you hold a clipboard is much less.

Good luck and Godspeed, Tom. Can we move on yet?? The chattering class on ESPN and NFL network have to spend hours talking???

My dad told me that Brady will play next year without cleats because he‘s hanging them up.

As a Buckeye, I remember back when Brady was at Michigan and Steve bellisari was Ohio state's quarterback and was having some issues. Brady was very kind and had encouraging words for Bellisari even though the players were part of a heated rivalry.

I also remember James Harrison commenting that when he left Pittsburgh to play for the Patriots that he wanted to hate Brady. However once he got there, Brady had so much class and a strong work ethic that Harrison couldn't do anything other than to like and admire Brady.

Everything I have seen indicates that he is a good guy and a great competitor.
