I'm going to do mine by sport:

Baseball:

2007 SR- Unbelievable atmosphere. We showed everyone in the country what MSU baseball is all about. Plus, you had Clemson saying that we didn't deserve it. Plus, I was sitting with some 6 packers and a lurker or two, and Gene was taking pictures of the crowd after the game 1 win. He turns to where we were sitting in the bleachers and all of a sudden his mouth drops open and he has this blank look on his face- and then he turns around and walks off. I was thinking to myself "How did he know that we were 6 packers?" I then turn around and see megadawgmaniac giving the Swan the double bird. It was hilarious!

1990 Mayor's Trophy Game- My Dad took me, and Ron got into an arguement with an umpire that lasted about 15 minutes. The cool thing was that the arguement happened right in front of us. State won 4-1.

1997 against Delta State- This was my first time that I ever saw DSU play, and they made me a fan that day. This was also Polk's 1,000 win, and we had DuBose going. He gave up a HR, and then the next time the guy came up, DuBose nailed him in the back, and a fight almost broke out. It was a fun game to go to.

Football
1999 Egg Bow It was sweet because it was so intense, both teams were good, and it seemed like every play was huge. Plus, Ole Miss fans that year all thought that State was a fluke. To me, that was the high water mark of the Sherrill era,

1996 Alabama- Because they just seemed unbeatable for us until that day.

1991 Egg Bowl- This was my first game ever at Scott Field, and it was my birthday present. My parents and I went up to the game, and we whipped Ole Miss.

Basketball
2004 Ole Miss- I got to see Rod Barnes get beat by an empty chair.

2003? Georgia State- At the Big House, but it was Lefty Driesell's last game and we hit a shot at the buzzer from half court. It was a walk-on to.

1998 Belmont- I remember that Tang Hamilton hit a shot at the buzzer to win the game, which was the first time I had ever seen something like that in my life.

Misc:

2000 Tiitty Dogs vs Titty Vols- We almost beat them and UT won on a questionable call. Only women's basketball game I ever went to.

2003 MSU women's soccer vs ?????- for a class project at UMC, we had to go to MSU at the TK Martin Center for a day. I was staying with my then girlfriend who was a student at MSU. Well, that evening, we broke up, and she kicked me out of her apartment. So, I didn't know what to do, and I went back to campus and a soccer game was going on. So, I watched and let time be my salve. I then stayed with my brother and slept on the floor in his apartment.

1. 2004 at Bama with Bowers hitting the winning shot to win the SEC. Unreal game.

2. Florida 2000 football.

3. 07 Bama football game. I still get chills thinking about that 100 yard INT return.

1. '96 Bama (FB)-To grow up a huge Alabama fan and decide to become a State fan when I enrolled in '92 (the same year Alabama won the NC), it was remarkably easy to learn to hate them with all my heart. I doubt any game I ever attend in any sport at any level will ever match helping carry off the goal posts that evening. Incidentally, my lowest moment was the '94 Alabama game. I remember cursing Barker, throwing my cowbell, and vowing to hate Alabama for the rest of my life (14 years in, I'm still true to my word). My parents, Alabama fans, considered disowning me.

2. '97 Regionals-My seat in the press box throughout the tournament was tremendous

3. '92 Florida (FB)- That's the loudest I've ever heard the football stadium, and to thump #1 Forida and destroy Matthews' Heisman hopes, it was fantastic. That may have been the first home game that season, which would have made it my first MSU sporting event to ever attend in person.

I know there are great basketball games that I've been to, but I can't remember any of them specifically right now. One of those would probably top my current #3.

2005...basketball @ Bama. To stay around and celebrate while waiting for the team to come out in your opponent's gym (so long that they turned the lights out) was great. 1996...football vs. Bama. I just remember saying..."We're going to beat Alabama" over and over. 1995...basketball vs. Florida. Down 16 with 16 to play. Going on a 25-1 run to end the game. UNREAL.

80 Bama game. If you were alive then there is no other

98 Ole Miss . Beating them and winning the west in Oxford, seeing their faces, knowing they lost to us and Tubby was gone,
me knowing I was going to Hotlanta. One word, orgasmic.

91 Texas. Jackie done come to save us all.

FB:
82 or 83 LSU - game where the temporary lights were put up at SF. Dana Moore kicks the winner to keep the cocky idiots from going to the Sugar Bowl. John Bond ran the option better than it has ever been run before or since.

98 SEC CG - Most electricity ever at a sporting event for me.

99 Auburn - Matt Wyatt threads the needle. Auburn fans around me had to tell me cheer, was in shock.

Honorable mention:
The regional where it took back to back wins over Washington. It was just a great day, not sure why that one sticks out but I just remember looking around the stadium thinking that's what sports is supposed to be about.

<span style="text-decoration: underline; font-weight: bold;">FOOTBALL</span>

1. '96 win over Bama. I was right at the threshold of being just too young for 6-3. Plus, my parents couldn't have and probably wouldn't have carried me to Jackson. But I'll never forget sitting there with time left on the clock and Bama with the ball. Everyone else was celebrating. I wasn't. I knew that the clock had to read 0:00 and MSU have the lead to confirm that we had won. When the fourth down pass was knocked down, everyone else kicked it up a notch in celebrating. I just stood there and let it soak in. Almost like a veil had been lifted from the '92 "it was a fumble" game.

2. '98 SEC championship. KP's punt return resulted in an eruption by us in maroon that blew the roof off the Dome.

3. '98 Egg Bowl/'00 Florida beatdown. Mostly for Dicenzo's actions. But 3rd and 57 will always have a special place in MSU lore.

<span style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline;">BASKETBALL</span>

1. '04 at Bama. I had a mini-wrestling rant for a buddy of mine at halftime saying that we weren't losing this game. The other fans in those sections either thought I was nuts or got fired up themselves. Thank you Timmy for proving me right.

Thanks DogSmack for uploading my pictures to the Six Pack Flickr page. (still can't figure that one out)

2. 4 OT win over Ole Miss. 'Nuff said.

3. '96(?) home game where I won the 3-point halftime contest.

<span style="text-decoration: underline; font-weight: bold;">BASEBALL</span>

1. That wonderful April night in '85. Played Jackson State. It was a Wednesday night, a school night. Greatest birthday gift EVER. Still have the program with nearly every player's autograph, including Jeff Brantley's "Happy Birthday A". Still have the baseball with The Thrill's autograph. Remember sitting at the end of the first base bleachers as the players walked from The Hump to Dudy Noble before the game. I couldn't tell you a damn thing about the game itself. But that doesn't matter.

A very distant 2. Super Regional game 2 '07. Just for the atmosphere.

3. '97(?) Regional championship game on that Monday because of rainouts. Got away with lying to my boss so I could go to the game. A couple of co-workers found out but didn't tell.

AA - top hottest game: '91 Tejas

In no particular order...

The '96 Alabama game at Scott Field. My first game back at Scott Field after having graduated the previous spring

The '96 SEC Tournament Championship game in the Dome when we beat Kentucky. Also got to watch the Selection Show with the team in one of the Dome meeting rooms, which was pretty cool.

The basketball game against Arkansas when Domangue separated the guy's shoulder. I still remember that screen like it was yesterday.

The football win over Florida on Thursday night in 1992. My first State football game in person - not bad way to start.

Beating Tennessee and Peyton Manning in 1994

Beating Arkansas at home in hoops with the game on ESPN and Dick Vitale in the house, though now I can't remember if it was '95 or '96.
