Oh yeah, Nick was a huge Oklahoma fan. His anti-PSU bias aside, he was very good guy, treated everyone well.
I remember he was an Oklahoma fan. Only judged him by what he wrote, and usually pissed me off. But I always read his articles so I guess that was the idea. Nice to know he was a good guy. Thanks Ceasar.
That article was written by the BTN's own Nicole Auerbach. Using the photo of AK implies he was faking his injury. Sure, gotta slow down the plodding, huddle-up offense of Iowa.
Yeah, she's been on there a few times. I don't really know her. I do think it's unfair to use a photo of any injured player for that story. I understand why they did, but PSU player or not, I absolutely don't use an injury photo if I'm typing that story. There are a ton of NCAA photos you can use of their headquarters or whatever. I wasn't a fan of that this morning.

Disagree on Finebaum. He has Jay on his show periodically, plus he speaks pretty highlay of Joe.
IIRC, Dinich attended Indiana U. I'm not certain but she may have been a PA native who returned after college and eventually would up at the CDT. The only thing I remember about her is she apparently had no respect for women's basketball. In 2004 PSU's Kelly Mazzante became the career scoring leader among Big Ten basketball players, men or women. Dinich threw a hissy fit since the prior scoring leader was Calbert Cheaney of her beloved Hoosiers. She wrote an article explaining how men's and women's basketball couldn't be compared therefore there's no way Mazzante should be above Cheaney. She acted as if people said Mazzante would destroy Cheaney if they went one on one. Of course nobody claimed any such thing nor did they claim Mazzante would have had the same success if she played on a men's team. It was a bizarre train of thought by Dinich.
I believe Mazzante's conference record has since been eclipsed by a couple other female players. I wonder if Dinich wrote articles about them which diminished their accomplishments.
