Super Dave and Bod Saget would all be on my list. However I grew up in China, had no exposure to stand-up comedy until 2010s. I am not quite familiar with anyone pryor to Robin Williams.
Quick note, I was playing a Clown the day Robin Williams died, I cried like a big baby in the costume.

Regarding the way back list, Lenny Bruce would also be an honorable mention because of the greats he influenced.
Lenny Bruce was great and tremendously influential. He performed before my arbitrary 50 year cut off.
None of them can hold a candle to Corbett Monica.
I've never heard of Corbet Monica Researching a bit, Monica was a Borscht Belt/Ed Sullivan performer. A little old for my list.
Clark Griswold when he was trying to get his outdoor Christmas lights to come on
Chevy Chase may appear dead, but he is still alive.

Not as interesting as the hot broad polls, but I'm slow at work so here we go. Arbitrarily all the comedians had to be active after 1970. I have thirteen names on my top ten list. Did I leave anyone out? What's your list?
George Carlin
Richard Pryor
Robin Williams
Rodney Dangerfield
John Belushi
John Candy
Johnny Carson
Norm MacDonald
Gilbert Gottfried
Joan Rivers
Gilda Radner
Don Rickles
Henny Youngman
What about?
Johnathon Winters
Alan King
Bob Hope
George Goebbels
George Jessel
Dick Gregory

IMO, Winters definitely. Jessel too old, Hope borderline too old. King borderline, Goebbels and Gregory, no.
But, hey, everyone has their own list.

I was having lunch in the Greek island of Rhodes when I learned Robin Williams had committed suicide. I’m still mad at him and have trouble watching his movies.
