I don't think it'll be an either/or. It's more of whether or not we can actually land both.

We'll likely retain Perry regardless. Proximity, familiarity, mom works for the university ... Talent says he should be in high demand, but I'd be surprised if college coaches try very hard to pry him away.

Rath will be in ultra high demand nationally, plus he supposedly has family ties to Lehigh. I suspect he'll grow a little more than Perry, though no real good guess what their college weights will be.
Since Perry's mom works for PSU, then I believe that he would go to school for free? If so, then does Cael need to even offer him any scholarship money?

Not quite free -- I think it's 75% off tuition; housing not employee discounted.

Point still valid, he'll not need much if any athletic money.

I thought Nasdeo was more like a Bearclaw caliber until this year. Now I am leaning more like a heinselman from Ohio State. Take his lumps the first 2 years, then maybe grow into a blood round/low AA caliber.
Heinselman struggled in the beginning of his career at OSU, but he had a nice last 2 seasons. He would have been valuable at PSU. Anything comparable the last 2 years would have added a lot to the lineup.

So the PSU Verbals that were in the PA States completed their matches. Cael Nasdeo (Williamsport HS) took 1st @ 121 in Class AAA. Branden Wentzel (Montoursville HS) took 3rd @ 121 in Class AA. And Dalton Perry (Central Mountain) took 3rd @ 139 in Class AAA.

The "Action the weekend of March 9, 10, & 11" post has been updated. In addition, the OP with the results of all the PSU verbals was also updated.

We should have a "Thank You" emoji with a picture resembling Tom.

Thank you!
Don't have that, but I do have a pic of Tom on a smoke break at a weekend tourney.
