We’ll I know who wasn’t the tallest midget…stone or pup.True. But the point was that leading his team in stats, or having stats better than someone on our team doesn't mean much if he's on a crappy team.
He could just be the tallest midget.

Rocket is proven. We don’t have to hope he improves. Just that he’s 100%, which every indication is that he will be. Every team in the country starting a new QB has to “hope” they’re what they think they are.I don't think necessarily to our degree.
IF the qb pans out, and IF the oline takes a 180 and IF the RBs improve then we shouldn't have to worry about the passing game? We literally listed every position on offense as a question mark.

A valid concern, 100%.You said it. Rocket is proven, IF he's healthy.
And yes, every team in the country starting a new qb has to hope, because it's an unknown. A question mark, or an "if", whatever you want to call it. Lots of teams have a question mark at qb, or ol, or RB or WR.
My concern is that we have a question mark at qb, ol,rb AND wr.
Every team in the country can say; IF the qb is good and IF the RBs are good and IF the OL is good and IF the WRs are good and IF the D is good and IF special teams are good, we are going to have a good season. One doesn't have to be a football expert to make that prediction. You said it. Rocket is proven, IF he's healthy.

The sad part is with the "new" cfb, there won't be any long-lasting development. Guys are now one-year mercenaries, hired for 'what can you do for me today?'. I don't see how you can count on developing and growing them for any sort of long-term benefit/success/contribution... That is, unless you're Bama and uga, I guess........
I'll say it again; player development is the key, even the 4 and 5 stars need development when they get to college.
