Interesting join date....just 5 days before the Clemson game....and, yet, no positive comments. Color me shocked.
Could be that other "burnt" orange from the week before the Taters....

The Park Ave. initiative. Started up in the summer; shot down in the fall. Please elaborate, I didn't see anything about the NIL suffering a blow.

Does NIL guidance impact BLVD, South Carolina's 'in-house agency'?
After the NCAA's latest clarifications to its interim NIL policy, some observers wondered if South Carolina or USC are impacted.www.on3.com
Did they actually close Park Ave. down? From my understanding as long as there is no agent - client agreement and they aren't doing any negotiating or representation in an anyway for any student athlete, they are just a resource service advising them what deals could be available for them, how much they should get, and coaching so that they can go and negoiate their own deals. None of that should be an NCAA violaton. The Park Ave. initiative. Started up in the summer; shot down in the fall.

They exist like the United Nations still exists. People more knowledgeable than I are saying that the initiative has been declawed. I know this much: you won't see us out-incentivizing Ohio State for a prospect, let alone Georgia.Did they actually close Park Ave. down? There was a some issue about a poorly-worded poster, say 'Free 'repping' of student athletes in NIL Deals. ' that person should be fired, but I don't think there was any actually representing going on in the way that was meant by the rules.
I guess those people were under some impression that Park Ave. was doing all the work, negotiating all the deals and doing all the paperwork and everything. USC is denying that though according to those articles. And I don't think our compliance department would forget the fact that student athlete's can't have agents since that has been a rule for decades. They exist like the United Nations still exists. Agents engaged for professional athletics representation are differentiated from those engaged in securing business deals. Coach Staley has gotten some her athletes together with the latter according to interviews she has given.I guess those people were under some impression that Park Ave. was doing all the work, negotiating all the deals and doing all the paperwork and everything. Yeah, Babalade is Marshawn's b***h.
Marshawn such a great guy. Loves USC. Loves us so much he's sowing seeds of discord with our recruits.
That hurts and sucks. OL are few and hard to find, especially this late in the game. Most, if not all, the quality ol are locked down. Shopping on the portal is also limited since there again are few available ready to step into SEC competition and other shoppers will be competitive. I sure hope Beamer and the staff can swing the hs kid back our way but it's doubtful, i suspect. My guess is they found better NIL deals . Sad
Gamecocks offensive lineman Oluwatosin Babalade announced on social media he was decommitting from South Carolina, citing needing more time to think about his recruitment.
Isaiah Jatta announced his decision to back off of his Gamecocks pledge and reopen his recruitment.
not sure how this helps. did you listen to the presser. Loved Beamer giving it back to the media without fear and loved Loggains insight. A Hell of a lot more personality than Satterfield ever revealed. Recruiting is a strength. How can you not see this as an upgrade? if only slight, an upgrade. To me it is 75% recruiting and 25% coaching x's and o's that matters. And so does on paper and eye test potential B.S offensive coordinator hires!
Jatta may hurt more- he was prolly gonna fill a spot immediately. and is more seasoned having been the Juco routeTree decommitting hurts
Yeah I caught some of it. I'll get on board. Just really wasn't pleased with the situationnot sure how this helps. did you listen to the presser. I give Beamer credit for not taking any crap. He talked like Saban up there. The counterpoint is he has doubled down. I hope it works out for him. That way, it will work out for all the other stakeholders as well, which will wind up being the main thing.not sure how this helps. did you listen to the presser.
