It wasn't a comment, it's what he actually did, lol. Weather was bad and they had two planes...he sent the plane with the backups and staff in first and said if they make it, he assumes they'll be good to land. What was Woody Hayes comment about sending the backups into Stste College first?
Yeah. Then he punched a guy. What was Woody Hayes comment about sending the backups into Stste College first?
Chumley's.Hopefully they take the entire UCLA team straight to Zeno’s… then The Phyrst!
on someone else's plane? plebianI only fly private to Caymans, Turks and Caicos and Maldives
UCLA is flying into State College airport from LAX traveling in two 737 aircraft.

The way UCLA has been playing would it make any difference if they took them to Chuck E Cheese?Chumley's.
Maybe. It might also have to do with aircraft availability.Looks like UCLA is flying out of MDT. Since there isn't regular service to LAX, I can't think of any other reason why a 757 would be leaving MDT at 6:30 bound for LAX.
Maybe PSU will do the same next week. Fly one plane out of MDT and two back to SCE.
If the runway is extended 1000 feet to the northeast, it gets about 460 feet from Rock Road. An option would be to add 500 feet to the southwest side (Runway 6) and add 500 feet to the northeast side to provide enough buffer. There is a building on the southwest side, but it does not look to be too much of an impediment.Looking at the 2015 Master Plan for State College airport the recommendation was to lengthen the runway to 7,500ft. My guess is with the west coast travel now happening they'd have to go longer than that to I'd say 8,500ft. There is significant room to the northeast of the runway that could probably handle it.
My wife asked me that same question when I told her I wanted to check out bentcarrot.com!If the runway is extended 1000 feet to the northeast, it gets about 460 feet from Rock Road. That said, for one or two times per year, is this really worth it?
The plan including moving Rock Road, but your question is the bottom line good question. Is it worth it?If the runway is extended 1000 feet to the northeast, it gets about 460 feet from Rock Road.
