Unbeaten Soccer Dawgs up to No. 15 this week

Play a winnable road game at Missouri this week, before hosting a Top 15 matchup with South Carolina next week.

Ole Miss is 11th and Alabama is 6th - both come later in the season.

Girls have a chance to host multiple NCAA Tournament games if they can find a way to go 1-1-1 or better in these three and not slip up against the bottom feeders. They are 9-0-2, but both draws were against teams that have losing records.

Soccer can be a strange game. One of the draws was the 1st game of the season at Miami. We outshot them 26-4 (11 shots on goal to 2) but couldn't put one in the net. Mississippi is also undefeated at 9-0-2, with draws against Southern Miss and Samford. To me, the SEC looks like a really strong conference top to bottom, but nobody that looks better than a Sweet 16 or possibly Elite 8 team.
