As the great Winston Wolf so eloquently stated, “let’s not start sucking each other’s d_cks just yet.” Lots of basketball yet to be played this season. We’ll see who gets the last laugh. This will only motivate Duke for the postseason.

It’s just 1 game. If you asked Coach K what he’d rather win, the last home game against UNC, or THE final game of the season, I’m sure he’d answer the latter.
It wasn’t just one game. It was coach K’s last game ever at Cameron. 80 former players were there, celebs were there, kids camped out for 8 weeks, scalpers were raking it in. It wasn’t just another game. It was vs. your most hated rival. And they crapped the bed big time and it couldn’t happen to a more hypocritical coach.
I enjoyed it thoroughly as I’ve never been a fan of the rat. He’s no better than the Calipari’s, Boeheim’s, Tark’s of the world of CBB. A sneaker empire as dirty as most. Hmmm, where are their shoes made? Duke and K are so deep in NIKE apparel it’s criminal but most in NCAA are. But they’re woke!

I thought his postgame was a little off but don’t kid yourself - a loss late in the regular season is a gift to Coach K as march madness begins. UNC played their hearts out and found the team game they needed for tourney time - will be a tough out but lack of depth will hurt them eventually. I was mostly perturbed with espin as they royally screwed up the coverage.

I watched some of the game and regardless of the outcome it just didn’t feel like a traditional Duke vs. UNC game. The game changed so much it’s unpleasant to watch. Without the ability for a defender to use hand and forearm checking basketball becomes nothing more than a track meet. The idea was for fans to see less fights, more offense and a steady rise in 3-point shots and points scored. All this resulted in teams adopting a small ball ideology where teams sacrifice player size and low post emphasis to instead utilize smaller, more agile outside scorers, hence a 40 minute track meet. No half court sets, just a steady diet of Shoot 3 pointer, run, shoot 3 pointer, run. Bring back Eric Montross and Christian Laettner much more fun to watch.
