It gets more and more absurd.

We stayed at #47.

Florida, on the other hand, moved _up_ one spot to #33.

So, I guess the secret formula rewards losing to good teams on the road by a few points more than it rewards beating good teams at home by a few points.

Meanwhile Clemson only drops 3 places after a terrible loss to sub 500 N.Dame team ....please make it make sense!

Worthless analytics sold as something of value which deserves more scrutiny as a meaningful tool in ranking NCAABB teams.

The creator of this tool would have to twist like a pretzel to explain the following

Look at Wisconsin's resume. We are a top 10 NET team based on who we've beaten. We're a tourney lock. Thankfully, the NET has little to do with anything for us.

Not entirely accurate. Yes, we are going to the tournament, but the committee relies HEAVILY on the NET when it comes to sorting and seeding teams for the tournament.

The creator makes it, so only they understand it, so they can seem above the rest of us. Reality is, it’s a dumbass tool.

We'll be seeded much more closely to our AP ranking that our NET ranking.

Sure hope so.

I wonder if some folks around here have ever seen a selection Sunday before. Some of y'all have more goodwill faith in the committee than I do.

Lunardi has moved us up to a 5 seed. We haven't entered a selection Sunday this strong since the 90s. Take a breath and enjoy this. We ain't getting hosed this time bruddah.

I'm absolutely enjoying it and what the team has earned.

I've just seen enough Selection Sundays to not have any faith in the committee.

Amen brother! I am not going to get worked up over rankings, seeding, location of games etc. We are playing with house money. Outside of the inexcusable loss to UGA at home, no complaints here.

Getting a 6 seed or higher is important: it means you have the opportunity to get to the Sweet 16 without having to go through any of the 1s or 2s.

And if we can land 6 or higher, I think it's unlikely they'd bracket us with Alabama or Auburn, who both seem to be matchup nightmares for us this year.

So IMO, seeding is incredibly important for our chances of Sweet 16+

It's crazy that our NET ranking hasn't really changed after 10 games.
