Great actor.
That's the rumor....

Doc Holliday in Tombstone is hands down my favorite character from any movie or show.

Edited to add that oddly enough - my least favorite character from anywhere is Ike Clanton in this same movie.

After reading this, Val Kilmer's passage killed a big part of my movie fandom. I can't remember any of his movies that I did not like, even the turn at Batman.

I'm not an "authority" on movies but I enjoy them and watch a lot . Val Kilmer was one of the best and most versatile actors of a generation IMO. His work will be enjoyed for decades to come. R.I.P. Doc .

Underrated role of his is his voice work in Prince of Egypt. He voiced Moses and God in that. The scene with the burning bush is very powerful.

Kilmer was hands down the best Doc Holiday but Wyatt Earp was a better movie than Tombstone.

His roll as Sherpa in Entourage was outstanding and he is not immediately recognizable.
