I guess people don't understand how good they were. Their first couple of pitchers were downright filthy. They are an older team and have very good talent. They will be in the mix come postseason time.

I agree! I think it is smart to start the season against a very good team so you know what to work on at practice. Beating a nobody does nothing to point out weaknesses.

Except there is no "place" yet since no SEC teams have played a single conference game and the overall record in no way plays into any tiebreaker.
