Sellers looked like Cam Newton in high school. But that was high school. He looked like Cam Newton on that touchdown. But this is Vandy.

I don't know what his ceiling is, but he's never failed to impress me.

The only thing we can say is he’s been as close to perfect as you can possibly be in the time he’s played. Really excited about this young man.

I’m not gonna say the D played well today. vandy is terrible. Their quarterback play is horrendous. No idea how they managed to score first on Georgia unless Kirby was sending a message and made the defense sit out their first drive.

A win is a win. It was great to see a ST TD. Sellers will be fun to watch. I am hoping there is a way Mario can come back next year with the whole Covid year thing. That was an awesome PlayStation spin move TD run. That being said, I think Jax St would be these guys 6 outta 10 times.
KY and Clemson could happen and here we are again with a 6-6 season.

If that happens it would be a remarkable comeback.

Haha. Gimme a break. D played lights out. Held them to their lowest point total of the year and under 250 yds….including UGA, Miss, and Mizzou. It’s ok to say they played well…I promise.

Celebrate (don't over-celebrate) today. Get back to work tomorrow. Gotta beat KY next week to set up a B-I-G game with a not-as-good-as-they-have-been Clemson team that is beatable (but their D is really stinkin good).

I’ll try. This has let me down so many times this year and I’m not talking about injury wise. I’m talking defensively. But fine. They played a little good.
I still think vandy is terrible. Maybe it looked extra bad cause vandy didn’t wanna play today. I mean some of tougher played games maybe they were in contention for a bowl? It was nasty weather and they might be just done for the season. I dunno.

For those that watched closely were we still trying to play 3 safeties on the field or did we change that mess out?

What I learned today? We are not a bad football team. Just too many holes to be a good football team. Still say recruiting and prudent staff upgrades by Beamer are the way forward. I can definitely see Sellers leading this team to better things, but still have to consider the teams we have to play. May not see much of a turnaround next season, but we can hope.

There are just so many better than us.

I’m not sure Vandy is ever in bowl mode.

I think we need to hit the portal hard on o-line and d-line. Yes, grab a receiver and a db if you can, but we need line help . O-line recruits look good but hard to play line as a freshman.

My only criticism about his TD run: I hope the staff let's him know there is no to need let go of the football the moment after you cross the goal line. There is ONLY downside and no upside to doing that (see the Washington game from yesterday). Just hang on to it until you take a few steps in the endzone.

I thought the same.
