No doubt they will be ready for us. And don't expect them to whiff on so many tackles.

If our OL requires LaNorris to break 12 tackles again, we'll be in trouble. Four of the OL had >50 pass blocking grades in the A&M game.

I think so too. Vandy defense isn’t that good though. If we can force them to throw the ball we will blow them out

We will have played at least three teams that are better on the hoof than Vandy. Dealing with that quarterback is the key to everything.

Is that the year we beat UNC up there before coming home and dying to Vandy the very next week?
That's right. 2007. We led UNC big at halftime, then proceeded to almost blow it in the second half. Lost to Vandy the following week, and went from 6-1 and in the Top 10 to 6-6 and missing out on a bowl. That season went straight down the toilet after halftime of that UNC game.

We did the same thing in 2010 after beating Alabama. We lost to UK the following week, I think

The good news is they won’t sneak up on us. We know they are good. We need Jules back as a run stopper addition in the middle and then tee off on the QB. My company sponsored an NIL event for Pavia and Hubbard, and the TE two weeks ago in Nashville. Don’t hate. Got to drive the business. Aside from being a threat to us you gotta love this kids story. Now just go beat em!!!!!! Anyone have any news on Elijah Davis. Is he red shirting giving us some DT support next year?? We have zero DTs signed in the class of 25’. Portal in about 6 hopefully, proven studs.

Vandy's offense has not cracked 300 yards in their last 3 SEC games. They barely cracked 200 against Auburn. To their credit, they have found ways to win 2 of those games and keep the other one close against a highly ranked Texas. But we can't let them have an offensive explosion in this one.

I don't think Vandy's offense is designed to put up big yards. It is reminiscent of Ga tech under Paul Johnson with a triple option style attack that eats clock and keeps the other team's offense off the field.

Admittedly, I haven't seen them play much this year.

They exploded in the Bama game for 418 yards and 40 points, but they haven't sniffed those numbers in the 3 conference games since that one going for 20 points and 288 yards against UK, 24 points and 269 yards against Texas and 17 points and 227 yards against Auburn. Against very bad Ball State they only put up 24 points.

Defensively, on paper, we should be able to control their offense. But Bama should have been able to as well...on paper.

The only reason I think they are hardest team left on schedule is because they have actually beaten some good teams. I don’t think Missouri or Clemson have beaten any good teams, would have to double check Missouri’s schedule to be sure. If it was a home game they would not stand a chance. One last point, I hope our guys aren’t looking past them. There’s no accounting for how 18-22 year olds think. We should win though, any way you look at it.

Well, Mizzou has beaten Vandy, who is a good team.

Vandy is good, but so are we. They don’t scare me though. We go out and play our game and we win by 2 TDs.

Funny. I was reading the A&M board after our game.

mine of their posters commented that they would not play another team as good as SC. Said Texas isn’t as strong and physical as what we brought to the field Saturday night. And vandy hung with Texas.

Yes, we fizzed. Watching it was agonizing.
