Initial reaction is that you can trace it all to once source; The OL again/still!!

Very true, at least on the first 4. To the fumbles, we simply have to be better on ball security.

Not sure what you do to teach that. We've been extremely fortunate to recover most of those 9, but can't count on that luck continuing. But that's a terrible stat through 3 games.

A lot of that is an inexperienced QB not having pocket awareness, and holding onto the ball too long. But the crap *** OL isn’t helping.

Agree. In HS he was able to deal with it, but he has yet to adjust to the speed of the college game

No. Even without the goggles Sellers has some growing to do in the pocket.

I agree with that, and I saidnit half jokingly. But there were a couple hits he took where I was convinced he would have seen it coming with normal peripheral vision.

But it's a moot point now.

Take out the 2 long runs and Po Dunk State ran it better on LSU than us.

Yeeeeeah...I was kind of thinking that.

All told, we ran for 243 yards on 41 carries, for a 5.9 ypc average, which sounds fantastic.

Take out those 2 runs, though, and we ran for 102 yards on 39 carries for a 2.61 ypc average, which is not as fantastic.

We have been desperate for more explosive plays, so I'm happy for that, but our run stats from the game are a bit misleading in terms of where the run game stands.

Why Beamer does not switch Elliott to OL coach and Teasley to TE coach (where less damage can be done) is perplexing to me, to say the least. Elliott was our OL coach from 2010-2015 plus an extra year under Muschump. From 2010 - 2013, we finished 22nd, 8th, 7th and 4th in the nation. But, that being said, I know little and claim less.
