..and Dunkirk. Of course, the gold standard is the Band of Brothers series followed by Pacific. The current series, that just dropped their third (and incredible) episode last night is Master of the Air.1917
No worries… get out another poll!!Ah. Hard to recommend films since I don’t know what you’ve seen. Hmm….
Impossible to stop! FIFY!I know it is not a movie but once I start it is hard to stop Band of Brothers.
Then you have to see "Pacific" and what is currently being released in "Masters of the Air". BoB was done by Spielberg and Hanks. They also did Pacific. This is their third series about the 100th bomb group. Incredibly, the "bloody 100th" lost more men than the Marines in the pacific theater. its is on Apple TV.I know it is not a movie but once I start it is hard to stop Band of Brothers.
Most punk rock war flick ever is apocalypse now extended.
"No, no not the death room".I believe we've talked about this before on the this board, but the new remake of All Quiet on the Western Front on Netflix is great. Worth the watch.

Yes! This is one of my favorite films of any genre.
- The Best Years of Our Lives - only real war scenes are at the beginning but the movie is really about post traumatic stress order before it was a thing
Fury was great!I know it’s mentioned but I thought Fury was excellent. Seemed very realistic to me
I think I watched this super fvcked up and had no clue what was going onThis is on Netflix and it's a wonderful little known movie of true story of Irish UN Peacemakers under attack in Africa....

One of my favorites. Good call.A Bridge Too Far doesn't get mentioned in these lists often. Its a pretty solid WW2 flick about Operation Market Garden
