Was Abdul Carter one of Penn State's two greatest defensive ends? Carl Nassib? Michael Haynes? Tamba Hali? Others?

You are all forgetting Dave Robinson. Look him up.
He was really good. A friend of the family took me to a game in the early 60's when I was 13. A play that still stands out to me today was the other team ran a sweep to his side; he crashed and went to his knees when the runner gave ground to go around him and he reached out with one hand, grabbed the guy by the chest and slammed him face first into the ground. He also played TE that day and caught a couple of passes. It took a gang to tackle him.

Amazing no one gave Chop Robinson any love. As for Dave Robinson.....the NFL HOFer Willie Davis raved about him...his comment was "with the kid from Penn State playing LB next to me no one will run on our side of the ball!"

Tweeted by Joel Haas: In his first season at defensive end, Abdul Carter finished with 24 tackles for loss. That ranks No. 1 nationally and is tied for second most in Penn State program history.
