A suggestion for those with sensitive guts….instead of experiencing nausea while ingesting the Prep Solution: prior to your procedure have your Doc give you a script for anti nausea meds. Works like a champ….really helps.Hi everyone... I am at that stage in my life where I must be examined for colon cancer because according to my doctor it is wise to do so... My question is which would be the better option? I know people who hve been happy with cologuard because it is non-invasive and has a effective level of detection beyond 90%... That said, a colonoscopy can detect polyps which cannot be done with cologuard. On a personal note, my mom had be bowel punctured from a colonoscopy which is why this decision is so difficult. I would appreciate hearing about some of your experiences and how you felt about afterward about your decision. Thank you!
