If we drove to the basket on half of our missed threes we win that game by 10
That frustrated me too because we completely let them take us out of our game. There's a slim chance that UK will shoot like that again this year, but I have to give them credit for moving the ball and getting mostly good looks. With just a few exceptions, our long range shots were rushed, outside of a shooter's range, or forced with a defender right in their faces.

I don't know why seemingly everyone but Cam gave up on the paint so early, but I like our chances there and trying to draw fouls much more than I like what we did last night. Also, I don't mean to pile on Hubbard, but he was the worst example of all of this. He just completely let UK get into his head and turn his game into something that it doesn't need to be

I hate it when a 5'6" guy that never runs sprints or sweats, doesn't wear knee pads or thigh pads, stands on the sidelines spinning a ball on his finger most if not all of the game, trots on to the field after your defense has stopped the offense from scoring and he takes 2 steps, kicks and they are rewarded with 3 points for not scoring a TD. Take away the field goal and make offenses go for it on 4th down or make them punt it but don't reward them for not being successful on offense.
I think this is actually a great idea. What are the 2 most exciting plays in football? 4th down conversion attempts & touchdowns. We’d get more of both. Field goals are boring.

FGs can be a major reason why some games are interesting though. The Arizona State game where like 3 were missed between the two teams is a recent example.
Everyone in the stadium and watching at home who actually cared about the outcome was losing years of life in anticipation and either joy or despair after each missed attempt.
That was a whole lot of excitement.

Agreed though that typically an FG isn't a very exciting way to score some points.

They can certainly become pretty "routine" looking .... until they aren't. KY v OM and more recently TX v ASU come to mind. Pretty "exciting" while pulling for KY and ASU for me. "Soul crushing" for our friends.
