it appears that Mason Gibson has switched his verbal from Cornell to PSU.
His brother, Erik, is coming as well:
I have a message into him to get to the bottom of it.yeah, I put that in the PSU Recruiting thread. I believe it's a transfer (he signed with Cornell as part of the 2022 class), but I didn't have a chance to check if he deferred or what, and too much going on with the football game.
Erik was in Ithaca but training with the RTC instead of the varsity team.
Presumably he was taking the Ivy Grayshirt Year at the local community college, at least for the fall semester.
Perhaps the biggest impact is with the rest of McCort -- the Gibsons are related to he Bassetts and Millers, and Forrest might be the biggest prize of them all.
@Tom McAndrew if you have some time at halftime, let me know if you see any errors. As you said, there's a lot going on! Lol.
Not a clue. Sorry.Any Idea as to why this Twitter photo is labeled with: “The following media includes potentially sensitive content?”
Maybe a disclaimer for the Cornell attorneys? Not a clue. Sorry.
Can any one make a list or flow chart of the committed recruits for 2023 and 2024 with potential weights (obviously some kids grow in college-look at David Taylor)? Recruiting lately has been amazing-I guess Cael and crew are serious about maintaining a level of excellence. Hopefully NIL money will grow-NOT all kids get full scholarships-and knowing one is wrestling with NLWC wrestlers who are world and Olympic champs must be awesome. The fact that former PSU (college) wrestlers like Taylor are staying in area sure helps plus it seems like the area is becoming a MMA center what is attractive to many after college.

Maybe somewhere in his announcement, Erik said "Please respect my decision."
