We were awfully close to seeing Lil' Favre last night

When La Tech had the ball on their last possession he was warming up and somebody brought him the headphones, presumably to talk to the booth. He put his helmet on and guys were giving him high fives as he started towards the sideline. I guess the coaches changed their minds at the last minute and decided to play for overtime.

to send him in cold. Mullen has done some stupid **** at the end of games but that would have been one of his strangest moves yet.

I say throw him a bone. Put him in the slot for simple stuff like bubble screens, curls, jet sweeps, etc. And let him throw one from that position. Maybe a backward bubble screen with a run/pass option for Favre.<div>

Maybe work him in on special teams... as holder on PAT's and FG. Gives us an opportunity to work on some trick plays.

He took the snaps from Saulsberry as the back-up in warm ups and took the second team reps in the pre-game 7-on-7's. Had we gotten up big like many thought, he would have gotten his chance. All it takes is a tweet apparently...

OP is exactly correct. My seats are right behind the bench. Looked as if Dylan went to get ready to go in the huddle on the last drive when he saw Chris he unstrapped his helmet and on the way back you could tell he had been told to get ready to go in
