Stanford @ Iowa @ 133, #23 Tyler Knox knocks of #7 Drake Ayala 15-10. (Side note- Tom Brand’s outfit makes him look like he’s volunteering at a Salvation Army Store. Meaning NO disrespect to the Salvation Army).

#17 Lorenzo Norman (Stanford) upsets #6 Nelson Brands (Iowa) 4-1. Both guys were tired, out of shape. No blood from what i could see.

You gotta give Iowa credit; they show up for each weight and the typical Iowa team is just plain tough, it’s seldom a gimme if you’re wrestling them. Over on HR/ GIA/ Hawkeye Beacon (where the fans love to eat their own) they’re giving it to the Brands brothers. They’re not liking the fact that their 174#er is wrestling there instead of at #184, which features Gabe Arnold. Nepotism at it’s best/ worst. They’ve bought themselves a pretty good team this year. NIL is gonna kill collegiate sports, imo. Mini rant over.
