That thread started with a dumbass remark that Bama offers everyone a scholarship. Considering that Bama has had the number one recruiting class each of the past two years and will be top five this time that's obviously wrong. As for OM, Nutt is a lazy recruiter and blanket recruiting is easier than heavy selling to 5* and 4* guys that Bama, LSU, and Florida are fighting over. OM is signing the academically deficient and other leftovers.

Alright Einstein. Bama currently has 23 commitments for the Feb. 3 NSD. That leaves only 2 slots. Saban usually signs 27-28 so the new rule doesn't really mean much to him. The leftovers are still on the table. Y'all belly up to the table with OM.

Rabbi, Stillman can't compete with Tuskegee in showing a good time. It's much more refined. Also, we have a different calibre of player at Bama than they do at AU. Perhaps you saw and heard Mark Ingram give his Heisman acceptance speech. That's a typical Bama player. Our boys wouldn't fit in at the Institute on a Saturday night.

Last three years you guys have signed 25, 32, 27...but I wasn't desputing how many recruits ya'll sign. I was saying ya'll offer alot of people. The thread wasn't even about Alabama believe it or not. Alabama football isn't the only program that matters. I was saying Mississippi offers a **** load of people and I was comparing them to Alabama who offers a ton of players. This year Alabama has not, but traditionally Alabama gives out alot of scholarship offers. Go back to your board. I'm sure you we're skimming random boards and you got a boner when you saw Alabama mentioned in a thread over here.

Touche, Rabbi. I'll try to get the hang of this setup and do better. For my enlightenment, what's a "fat rabbit" per your post above?

Are you really that arrogant. It never ceases to amaze, you people. If you think all of Alabama's players talk like his intellectual sounding self then you truly don't know what your talking about.

Now Roy Upchurch and Jammy John and the textbook 5 ... now there's you some fine examples.

Oh but I do know what I'm talking about. Over the next couple of weeks leading up to the championship game the Bama players will be interviewed alot. Listen to their diction. There's alot of "south" in their accents but no illiteracy or ebonics. Those kinda guys ain't playing for the Tide. I just read a few days ago that Bama leads the nation in the number of college graduates on a college team. I think the number is around 20. I hope ABC plays up that angle during the game. A guy who isn't smart or doesn't do the right things doesn't make it long at Bama. And, of course, we bribe all 58 SEC game officials and control the SEC HQ staff. Right? I mean what other explanation could there be for Bama's success?
