Football these days unfortunately. Not too long ago it was a driving force of my personality and I scheduled a lot of my life around it. Now days I look up on Fridays who we’re playing and what time.

Choose between football, basketball, or baseball.

For me, it’s baseball. I can easily check out from it.
Basketball, the Howland years where you pretty much could predict the pattern made me dead, plus the sport has become damn near unwatchable for me. Close baseball games and football games build drama when a team is trying to come from behind. The last game minute of a game where a team is down by 5 in college basketball is the most excruciatingly slog in sports to me.

Basketball was so painful for so long that I kind of checked out from it. It’s gradually bringing me back, but I’m not sure if I trust her yet.

So right now basketball, by the end of this year it may be baseball

Insert Jackie Sherril "this" image.

I used to listen to radio calls of basketball games & it's the hardest sport to follow by ear.

I just haven't been able to fully get back into following it. I DO care & want them to succeed as with all things State.

Also, now with a family & a toddler, basketball scheduling feels so random to me.

Football : Most Saturdays of the fall
Baseball: 3 games a weekend. Usually one midweek & I can listen & follow while doing any number of things.

There aren’t a big 3. There is men’s basketball and football. All else is club sports. So I’m less emotional about basketball because until the tourney, it’s low stakes really.

Basketball with football not too far behind. I watched less than an hour of our football season this year and probably only watched about 10 hours of college football total. I won't do that with baseball....love the sport too much and have too many good memories of us kickin' assz at The Dude.

Baseball because when we lose, it hurts. We truly should win the conference and be in Omaha every year.
In football, losing doesn't move the needle. I'm too the point in football that I get more joy out of an ole miss loss than a State win.

I get most worked up and nervous over basketball, especially when we're good and have expectations.

Football similar but to a lesser degree even though I care just as much.

Baseball, which i played in college, I'm not nearly as emotionally invested. Maybe because it's a slower paced game and not as adrenaline rushing, imo... until post season i guess you can say.

Basketball, my heart gets to beating and I get so worked up, whether it be at our team, the officials, ect... it's probably not a healthy thing to do as I age (currently 44)

Basketball to me is just an ugly sport to watch now. I’m not sure when it happened for me, but somewhere along the line, I just got to where I begrudgingly watch basketball. I want us to do well at everything, but basketball is such a hard watch for me.

Since Mavs games are now free on local OTA television, I watched their game against the Grizzlies a week or two ago and between the whiny superstars, the terrible calls, and the hero ball, I was reminded why I really just don’t like the NBA. Since college has evolved to somewhat match the NBA, I think I’ve grown to dislike it as well.

Got to be golf. I stopped wondering back in in the 90's how a top PGM program could field such a relatively crappy golf team year over year. We R Miss State!

Football, and it pisses me off how little I care. MSU football used to be a large part of my family’s life and it rarely comes up in conversation anymore.

Basketball hasn't registered on my radar in decades. I want State to compete in every sport but it wouldn't bother me if basketball didn't even exist. As much as hate the NIL era, I'll still watch some college football and a lot of college baseball.

Easily basketball. We haven't advanced past the opening weekend of the tournament in nearly 30 years. Hard to be emotionally invested when we've been so irrelevant for so long.

Currently football for me. The way everything has gone both nationally and at State, I'm incredibly apathetic toward college football as a whole and State.

Baseball is my favorite. It's the most important to me. Basketball and football will always flip flop for my level of care depending on which is having more success.

I hate you got to watch that abortion of an NBA game. It took 42 minutes to play the FOURTH QUARTER because there were so many foul calls.

Least emotional? Baseball.

Most emotional? Football, usually, we not in usual times tho, I’m afraid. Apathetic maybe.
Most enjoyable? Basketball.
