What does the cowbell vote tell us?

I have a hard time believing that everyone voted against our AD, and voted with our coach. Doesn't everyone think it would be the opposite? The only possible explanation is that other coaches woke up with the stories of the passing of Nick. It shouldn't take a tragedy to keep our bells, but that may be exactly what happened. RIP Nick.

They clearly didn't even know their own coaches' opinions of our cowbells, as the coaches voted in favor. The typical SEC AD's opinion can be summarized as "MSU whining again, oh 17 'em".

to ring the hell out of them regardless, might as well have some rules in place to monitor the activity. Fact, cowbells will always be present at home MSU football games, either legally or snuck in after they are banned.

rampart cheating may make them look a little hypocritical ? I know they weren`t smart enough to look at it that way but it would damn sure look that way to me.

I always thought that the people complaining that "it's only mentioned when we are winning" were deranged. However, here we are, winning again and they've become a big topic. Yet when crooms (and the later years of Jackie) was in charge, you didn't really hear much about it. It is amazing that some morons seem to attribute us winning to a few thousand people ringing a bell during a football game. So I guess it is true. We win. Cowbells must go. We lose. Who cares.

you have to have people to ring them. When you lose - the stadium is full and those that do dare enter - probably don't care enough to tote a cowbell.

When we win - more people and thus more people with cowbells.

for someone to legitimately think that the difference between those two scenarios is the difference between a win and a loss in the best league in college football is crazy, too me.

longer considered a "soft-spot" in the SEC schedule since it is a non-factor when we are losing

it's about what is happening to the losing team when we ring them.

This caught fire again in 2001 when we beat precious Eli in starkville and kept them from a bowl. Khyat lost his mind and with it was the ringing in his ears.

Yes, the more fans we have in the stands, the more the bell gets annoying.

But the more fans we have in the stands means that we are winning, and the bell is a MUCH bigger irratant to someone who loses.

Lets see if everyone had to blow into a brethalyzer in Baton Rouge every saturday night to get in the stadium.

Betthat grass eating ***** wouldnt be saying a word about ncaa rules against drinking.
