I would like to know how our speeches went because we came out uninspired!
Here's what GA planned and executed!

What really happened is that UGA is talented and deep enough to make adjustments.
Thanks for that comment. I missed the second half, but caught bits on the radio. Proud of our team, but hope they were mad and feel like they should have won that game and not happy just to be in it until the end. When I think of the last three games last year, this team felt like they should've won and it showed. Clemson might have been 1 point on the scoreboard, but on the field we were 10-17 points better. Didn't get the W against ND, but you could tell it was just because there was nothing left. Would have been a split decision in a fight. If this team has a "we're gonna win" mentality going forward, a lot of people on this board are going to be very happy.Pretty much. They made better adjustments than we did. When you're in that kind of game, it's all about which side makes the better halftime adjustments. Kirby hasn't totally lucked into 2 titles in a row. I do agree about talent as well. UGA came out right off the bat and socked us in the mouth in the 2nd half. They just made adjustments. And, in reality, UGA just made plays in the 2nd half that that they weren't making in the first half.
I also think it showed in our play that we had 2 different mentalities. We were playing like the aggressors in the first half and playing like we had nothing to lose. We were more tentative in the 2nd half.
This was my point in the OP. What was said and planned at halftime on our side - certainly not ''let's go out there and dial back the aggressiveness and play not to lose''.Pretty much. If that was a halftime adjustment - it was a very bad one!Not sure if it was you or someone else who posted that we were giving their receivers a lot more cushion in the 2nd half. Posted some screen shots.

We went from aggressive and attacking on offense and defense in the first half to sh*t in the second half. What happened after the halftime rest is the question. All we needed was more of the same - no adjustments needed.Couple of thoughts….
After the quick TD drive for Georgia and poor starting position at about the 15 after the next kick (plus a five yard penalty), we were cooked right there. I knew if we punted it back to them right away we were toast. Georgia is just too good, and we had to keep playing lights-out.
Also, I think I agree with Peyton Manning that “halftime adjustments” is a bit overstated. He basically said that half time was for catching your breath and deciding what you did wrong with what you had planned. It takes a whole week to plan for a game, and there is no way to significantly adjust a game plan at halftime. Just look at what you’ve screwed up and try to change that. Seems to make sense to me.
Bobo. My guess is KMart had a little talk with him at the half. They ran the ball more in the 2 half and ran it effectively. Not sure why they didn’t run more in the 1st half. Did they not watch film on us? I agree the soft coverage on our part was bad. But the key was their adjustments to our one- trick pony offense.
I'm sure it was as easy as this: "Bobo...Run the damn football and throw it to Brock".Couple of thoughts….

We scored 0 points in the second half -- we were just not capable of pulling those things off.I'm sure it was as easy as this: "Bobo...Run the damn football and throw it to Brock".
I don't know. I thought we still battled. Got the missed FG early in the 4th and had a chance to tie it or take the lead. That Knox drop on 3rd down was the dagger. Convert that and who knows what would have happened.
