This is my biggest worry about this team. All other areas should be as good (skill wise) or slightly better. Hope these guys don't wait till the 7th game to "gel". Good news is that all of these guys have had quality playing time (I think).</font>

and at least this year they're not being asked to "gel" with LSU and Auburn right out of the damn box. I hold out hope that they'll have some confidence and some success with 2 inferior opponents.

The two tackle spots are my question marks. Can Sherrod hold it down for a full season? Melichar is good, but in both instances it is different being a sophomore as opposed to a senior (strength and experince) Both of these guys have some pretty big shoes to fill! It also surprises me that we only have 3 guys over 300 pounds! These are some massive human beings, all about 6-4 295. JWS liked them about 5-10 350!

never seemed to understand the difference between muscle and fat.

I remember we briefly had a player named Monte Collins who was close to 400 lbs.

the QB-C exchange was the biggest problem. That will also likely be one of the biggest question marks about the offense come the fall.

That fact that we are starting 3 sophomores concerns me, especially since both starting tackles are sophomores. I would feel much better if Brown were still here and we only had to start 2, with only one (Sherrod) playing (front side) tackle. When was the last time you've seen any team that had a really good offensive line with three sophomores starting? I think that average to slightly above average is the absolute best we can expect. Oh, not to mention we left Spring practice with major questions at fullback.
