What's the Pack's opinion of when kids should start lifting weights?

My opinion on it is not just based on biology. Young teens should be focusing on things other than bodybuilding, IMO. All around athleticism is a great thing for anyone, but focusing on maxed physiques is not a psychologically good thing for teens, IMO.
There are very few clear cut 15 year old athletes who are no brainer future draftable players. Maybe maybe 1% of the small percent who make the nfl/mlb/nba. Maybe.

P5 level scholarship at 15 is certainly higher but still very very low.

For young men I would say once their bollocks drop and their bodies start overloading with testosterone.

I don't disagree. My point stands.

Though, to play devils advocate, an hour a day spent weightlifting is probably better than a lot of crap parents have kids doing these days, like excessive travel ball or redonk level homework.

Oh I 100% agree with that. I thought your original point was something about 15 year olds being draft ready.
