what's the story with Will Howard

Sounds like he has an ax to grind with PSU not drafting recruiting him.

Does this mean he'll look like a combination of Steve Young, Joe Montana, and Tom Brady against our defense?

He does not have an axe to grind with Penn State. He comes from a PSU family (father went to PSU and sister was on the PSU swimming team). He was very disappointed when Franklin was not interested in recruiting him. This was right after the McSorley era where it looked like we needed a mobile QB to be successful here, not a big armed, NFL-type pocket passer. Thus he ended up going to Kansas State and jumped to Ohio State when offered big NIL $$. (The irony was that a year later Franklin ended up recruiting Drew Allar who was almost a clone of Howard - a big armed NFL-type pocket passer. WTF?) The kid grew up bleeding Penn State blue and always saw himself as a Penn State player. He and his family love Penn State. It just didn't work out.

So now he feels compelled to provide bulletin board material by expressing his disappointment and resentment in public?! Not necessarily a smart move.

With all due respect, Allar and Howard’s recruiting profiles were vastly different.

What CFB players had their hot moms shown on TV? I can’t think of any.

I do recall some players from Texas and Alabama having some smoking hot girlfriends.

He certainly has put the spotlight on himself and to play well for this game. He is going to have everyone focused on him and his play as he does sound a little bitter PSU passed on him, and rightly so
