I have a new found respect for D Wade in these finals. I despise the Heat and LeBron James but Wade has been completely unstoppable throughout the entire playoffs and he plays tough defense along with it. Certainly hehas beenthe best player on the Heat this post season.

I think Wade gets overlooked sometimes with all the emphasis on James but I think you have to put Wade up there just with some of the best ever at his position. Behind Jordan of course but not far behind Kobe.

and could be considered unstoppable when playing his best, but he was pretty much a non-factor for most of the series against the Bulls.

I think Wade right now is the 3rd best all-time SG, behind MJ and Kobe. I think when his career is over, he and Kobe will be interchangeable for 2nd best ever. Wade is by far my favorite player in the NBA and has been for years. I really can't stand Kobe and he can thank the Big Aristotle for 3 of his 5 championships. Wade was far and away the best player on the court in 2006. I also think Wade has a great chance to end up with as many championships as Kobe (5) when he retires.

Who was the starting center for the Heat when Wade won his only title?

Kobe's stats during his 3 championship runs with Shaq:

2000 - 21 points, 4.5 reb 4.4 assists
2001 - 29.4 points, 7.2rebs 6.1
assists
2002 - 26.6 points, 6 rebs, 4.6 assists

Yes, it was all Shaq that won those rings. Had nothing to do with Kobe. /sarcasm off

Then come tell me Kobe was the reason they won those championships. Wade only average 34 a game in 2006.

I get that some folks just genuinely hate Kobe but the guy has got five championships, two without Shaq, and is without question one of the top ten players of all time. By the same token you could say that Shaq never won a title without a great guard. Works both ways.

Kobe doesn't get those rings without Shaq. What's the big deal? Very,
very, very, very few teams that win championships don't have two all
stars.

I think the two Kobe just won are some of the most
impressive ever. His number two was freaking Pau Gasol. And if Dirk
pulls this one off? He deserves to keep the gold ball in his living
room.

Shaq was the primary reason the Lakers won it, there's no denying that. With that said, he doesnt win them without Kobe just like Jordan doesnt win 6 without Pippen.
