I parked on Perimeter Road one year, about a damn mile walk up and down hills. I went with a mixed crowd in 2010 and parked by Doug Kingsmore in an IPTAY lot. Much closer to DEAD VALLEY! Funny thing, CU fans don’t leave early, but when we got back to the car immediately following the game, the lot was pretty much empty. Perhaps the 29-7 USC drubbing we put on them that night had something to do with it? Remember, CU fans don’t leave early. An effing urban myth….

Talked to my brother-in-law, Clemson grad, he said the best place is probably New Spring Church they have a shuttle to take you to and from the game. Also said at "Y" beach there is a reserved concrete parking lot on one side and a large grass field for open parking...they also have a shuttle to and from the game that drops you off at the baseball stadium. Fort Hill Presbyterian Church also had available spaces last week and several other games this season....that would be the best. For a noon game, he said to be there at 7:00 a.m. or you may end up on Perimater Road on the other side of campus and as @howcawcrrekcock said that is a drudgery of a walk.

been over 10 years since I have been there.
Go on line, view their parking maps…..thikyoull find 2 aka, two pay “campus lots”.
Also as you approach down the Main Blvd you might find some private lots …..Either way get there early , 8Am.

I've never had much trouble finding parking there. Getting in and out of town is the nightmare of going to that place. Clemson buddy lives in Greenville and has a permanent parking space he bought right next to Esso. Even though he has a locked in parking place he leaves home around 7:00 am on noon game days to make sure he can get to his parking spot without dealing with a traffic nightmare. He says when they have night games he is lucky to get home by 1:00 am and he only has to travel about 30 miles.

The place is a "pick your poison" when it comes to parking and traffic. You can get there extra early and get a spot relatively close to the stadium but it will take you an eternity to get out of town after the game. Or, you can park far away from the stadium and it will only take an hour or so to get out of town. One road in and one road out makes for brutal traffic when 60,000 or so people are trying to come or go.

It's the one place you go where a 12:00 game is an absolute blessing.
You are correct and a night game is a journey into doom and misery. I went to a 7:30 game a few years ago. The game ended at around 11:00. I got back to Columbia a little before 4:00 in the morning. I told my clemson buddy I would never go to another night game up there.

Similar experience to my last trip up thar. I found it easy to get in, terrible time leaving.

Is that the one where y'all just went up without tickets and got some from a guy at the stadium fence? And we won?

Whatever you do, don't park in one of their stadium parking lots. I did that a few years back and it took 2 hours just to get out of the parking lot and it was a night game. Driving back to Columbia we were so tired that we spent the night in Clinton lol !

Similar thing happened to us once. We were on our way to the Beach & didn’t make it off of 26.

Having been there many times I can say "There Is None". Clemson is worse than UGA. Suggest you get there around 7 am. Good luck.
Parking in the grass isn't good if it's raining, unless you have 4 wheel drive.

Yep. Tickets in Carolina section. Some jubilant young long hair guy came up to my car window in the lot after the game and held up a plastic bag of grass and said, "Check this out!" I thought he was checking to see if I was looking for pot. Then he said, "I just got this from off of the field!". He snatched it after we won.

Tough parking there depending on how you come in, you get “directed”. Best way to come in is on the lake side. Then you can sort of pick a spot. Best I ever had was in an apartment complex where students lived right east of the Esso Club. Had a blast with them. Soccer practice field is good too. Getting out or in is nightmarish any time the game is played.
