I thought he was progressing very well, and then he gets 2 minutes vs Houston.
Is he hurt or did I missed something, did he piss off the Bury kids or Meo?

The third hockey line didn't get much time since we were trailing most of the game.

Saturday but given how well he's been playing lately I don't see why that justified him not seeing the court again. Goodness knows we have players making lazy pass turnovers all the time and they don't normally get yanked. Maybe the staff felt the matchups didn't warrant playing Osby much Saturday but heck even Benock got six minutes (4 more than Osby) and during that time got royally abused by the Coleman guy.

The only thing i can think of is that Houston had a small quick line-up out there and stans was just trying to create the best matchup on defense.</p>

But how fun would it be, if we would play a 2-3 zone with Dee, Barry, Osby, Kodi, and JV (the 2-3 worked GREAT against Houston).

And then in turn, created matchup problems for Houston on offense.... because Houston didn't have any lineup that could effectively gaurd Kodi AND JV.... I couldn't imagine them trying to find another big body to put on Osby....

It makes no sense for Osby not to see significant minutes. He has to be hurt did something at halftime to piss of Stans...

And you are ready to name him a starter. Is Osby going to be you and c34's 2009/10 version of Kodi Augustus? He didn't play for the same reason Riek didn't play and Kodi was limited in the second half. They didn't match up well defensively. And guess what? It worked.

For the record, we looked awful when we went with the 2-3. That is probably on Stans though...I don't ever remember a Stans team looking good running the 2-3.

As far as having Jarvis, Kodi, and Osby on the floor at the same time and running zone; we would get killed. Osby and Kodi would be playing wing to baseline and they would be too slow to get back to the defender when the other team reverses the ball to the other side.

Anyone beyond those six gets <six minutes per game unless something crazy is happening. It will only get worse in SEC play, so get your fill of Osby now.

Projected MPG in SEC play:
Barry - 38
Jarvis - 37
Dee - 37
Ravern - 28
Phil - 26
Kodi - 24
Benock, Osby, Riek, Luzack, Baxter Price - 10

What game were you watching? I was sitting about 5 rows behind Stansbury and the 2-3 worked GREAT at stopping their runs. They had no clue what to do with it. They were so heavy on gaurd play, that our wings on baseline could cheat to help with the 3, and JV basically could go toe-to-toe with their big on the floor. It worked GREAT.

In this game, considering the way he was shooting it, it would have had to be Ravern. But maybe Osby is in for him late and he doesn't hit the clutch 3 that helped seal the win.
