Two retards were fighting over who was smarter and it actually got to the level of attempted presidental assassination. Who was smarter? Well one never saw it coming and managed to get arrested for it… the other left a trail of breadcrumbs that led to him being eventually being caught for it.

Related: I tried watching the new Elvis documentary on Netflix, but it has too much Wright Thompson and his weird intense face. I'm not sure there's somebody that loves the sound of his own voice more than that guy and I'm not sure why he's somebody that needed to be in like 45% of it.

I try really hard to be supportive of Mississippi guys, but I can't take much of Wright Thompson. He comes across as a caricature of a southerner.

Did you read his book Pappy Land? I swear every other chapter was about himself. One chapter he compares his wife's battle with infertility to Julian's (the guy behind the pappy) bout with cancer. After that I couldn't read any more and will not read another one of his books.

I used to play golf with someone close to this when it was going on. I remember him telling us how the government trashed Curtis's house while searching. After it was all over and it was determined Curtis was not involved the government compensated him for the damages. And it was quite a bit. Also vaguely remember other things so maybe this movie, documentary, whatever will shed more light on it. Being local it should be interesting.
