I am a life long saints fan and a season ticket holder but I am a realist also. Right now they are not playing good football. Defense misses to many tackles, special teams sktechy after missing a game winning field goal and giving up a punt return to tie the game late in the 4th plus the offense needs to get back to getting thomas and bell involved. stop going away from them in the second half. Saints can do it, but not the way the way they are playing now.</p>

Look for the Saints to lose in the first round to America's team, when they play in the Superdome, aka, Texas Stadium East.

Every team has injuries to deal with this time of year but the Saints are really banged up. The team from the last 4+ weeks is a really different team (personel wise) from the first 10 or 11 games.

Exactly. If we get half of our play makers on D back to at least 90% then I don't see teams being able to run the ball on us like they have the last 5-6 weeks. This should force some throws and we can get back to winning the turnover margin, not to mention the time of possession that's been killing us lately.
Shockey should help our running game which will make life easier on Brees and our receivers.
I say all that to say it's going to be tough especially if we run in to Philly and all that speed at the receiver position.

He didn't say anything that wasn't true. If you think the Saints looked like a Super Bowl contender against Tampa, then you're a moron. They've lost two in a row, one to a bad football team, and that's the definition of not playing good football right now. Yes, they won 13 games before that, and they're a good football team. But they're not playing good football to end the season.
