Who is the better get, Sanders or Dart?

Dart looks to pretty much be a sure thing. Sanders has the bigger upside but certainly has a bigger downside. I’d draft Dart and cross my fingers that Sanders turns out to be a bust.

I’ll be the Contrarian — Sanders’s OC last year was Pat Shurmur who’s had extensive experience as an offensive coordinator in the NFL as well as a couple spells as head coach.

Besides— After Ward, it’s a shallow pool. As long as the NFL team makes the QB salvageable, that’s who will work.

The better question would be: Can the Saints make either QB salvageable?

And I think whoever doesn’t get chosen by the Saints will be the Winner **

(I don’t think Dart or Sanders are great options but that going to the Saints would be a losing option)

Hunter bailed sanders out a lot. And when line couldn't hold up it got ugly. Sanders is very talented and would have all the resources to be great. He has a high upside. I would be shocked if cowboys don't make moves to get him because well.. Jerry likes the show. Loomis and Moore seem like they would go Dart but they could also go off the wall and get someone not on the radar

I think you are going to see a lot of teams trading back in the draft this year. I think Ward is good, but he is not a someone I think is sure thing. Both Dart and Sanders have a high risk and high reward vibe. It would not shock me if both bust or boom.

This is something about Sanders that scares me. He had one of the greatest talents playing WR. Also, where would he be without his dad?

That’s actually a positive.

Deion is a showman; yet, he’s done a decent job of attracting coaching talent too.

This is where I am. I think Dart has a decent chance to be successful if he goes to a good team and situation. He doesn't seem to me like the type of talent that can go play for a bad team and overcome it. I haven't watched Sanders enough to have an informed opinion; I'm just assuming that the Deion circus will be a very bad thing if he ends up on a bad team.

Dart has the physical tools, but I question the mental makeup and if he has what’s needed.

Go watch the end of the Florida game again. With OM trailing by a TD in the final few minutes and them knowing they were out of the CFP with a loss, he threw essentially 3 interceptions on awful reads / throws from trying to force the issue….all in the final 2 minutes of the game. Two were actual INT’s….the 3rd was initially ruled an INT but was later overturned to incomplete when replay showed that the ball hit the ground. That gave him a do-over to throw an official INT afterwards. If you were watching in real time, you’d see a guy that totally lost composure and couldn’t deal with the pressure of the moment.

Sanders..

You have to deal with the dog and pony show that comes with him.. but im betting once he gets inside an NFL lockerroom a lot of that goes away... until he comes a star (big IF) and then you'll be ok dealing with it.

But Sanders is a better pro prosepct... and i dont think its that close.

Jaxson Dart will go down as the greatest college quarterback ever to wear a skirt. Ironically, he replaces Will Rogers for the honor...

I think you guys are letting your dislike of Deion guide you too much. I don’t think sanders or dart will become elite NFL QBs, but sanders has certainly been impressive at times.

I have not seen either play enough to know.

Do people watch other college teams enough to make their own educated evaluation or do you listen to pundits on the networks/internet? I know there are guys out there that may have a good bit of Dart but Sanders? Who has watched him play a lot?

My first wife elevated the sex life in my bedroom too but she wasn't worth having around for very long.
Well lets hear why we shouldnt have Deion around for long?

I mean if he could sniff 7 wins in 1 of 3 years here i'd take the chance for the publicity and revenue.

I'm not suggesting we fire Lebby, but if the spot opened up and Deion was willing, we'd be dumb not to take that chance given the current evidence.

I'm not sure i'd take Dart in the first round. Haven't watched Sanders close enough to make that call.

I agree. I think Dart is a Day 2 caliber QB. Sanders I might consider taking if I’m a team that otherwise has a good roster, or maybe even an established veteran QB he can sit behind for a year or two.

A lot of recent buzz about the Steelers possibly taking Sanders, they are sitting at Pick 21 for now.

I just go back to the end of last season for Dart ...all he had to do was not suck against a bad Florida team and they are in the playoff...his last three drives of that game with so much on the line spoke to me about his leadership ability. And his game against MSU with a group of 5 defense was just flat...no heart.......he's A hard pass for me

Sanders gives me "John Manziel" vibes. I believe he will be a bust.

Dart is tough, but may have trouble making all the throws you need to make in the NFL. I would still choose him over Shadeur, but would choose Ward over either if I had the first pick.

I watched Ward in his final game and he looked unbelievable. I’d take him over either of these two. Sanders may get injured less than Dart, so I’d take him second.

Can he coach baseball? Lord knows that program needs some swagger back.

Dart. But I wouldn’t go after him in the first round. Feel like he’s a guy you could not reach for and still get him.

I personally don’t want any part of the sanders family at the saints. If the saints draft him early in the first, it’s going to crash and burn so quick.

I don't know about Dart, but I have watched Sanders a few times. I read where one analysist said he passed ok, held on to the ball too long
and took too many losses. Not that fast. Also, said he was a BUST. I agree with all of that.

NEXT. Prescott was a 4th round pick, let that sink in.
