Who was the best college QB you saw play in person? I'm trying to rack my brain and I saw Flutie, Testaverde, Cam Newton, Tebow, and Winston as far Heisman Trophy-winning QBs in their Heisman Trophy winning season, I also saw Trevor Lawrence and Troy Smith (not in his senior year but rather 2005 vs PSU). I'd have to say Winston or Flutie.

So who was the best college QB you saw play in person?

Kerry Collins was an absolute machine in '94. Yeah, that team had a ridiculous amount of weapons and a devastating offensive line, but whenever they needed a play, he delivered. He could make any throw, his decision making was outstanding, and at the time he still had sneaky mobility. His stats, passer rating, clutch plays, etc were through the roof.

The four interceptions in 48-14 sold you huh.
Your question was who was the best college QB I saw in person, I saw Marino against Temple in person Never saw him against PSU. Never saw Testaverde or Kelly etc in person.
The 48-14 game is not one I saw in-person so it’s not commenurate to your question.
Do you even understand the question you asked? Dipshit.

For those listing Penn State quarterbacks, only one never lost a game as a starter.
22-0.
Chuck Burkhart.
Chuck never lost a game as a starter in high school either.
John Shaffer was 66-1 as a starter going back to the 7th grade. He was 25 -1 at Penn State.

I saw Tom Brady, who is the NFL GOAT and that '99 game was very similar to his NFL career. Michigan just was too dumb to start him full-time.

During my days of going to Psu games, I happened to be able to see Brees, Brady, and Henne…all NFL starters. Then there was MRob who somehow became a fullback in the pros.
