Conference championships are as irrelevant as conference tournaments in basketball and baseball. We should probably get rid of those too,
I like the basketball SEC Tourney. It gives the bottom feeders an outside shot if they were to get hot and go on a run. But mostly......I like that the tourney sort of "battle-hardens" the teams that are likely getting selected anyway which prepares them for the Dance. Baseball and Football SEC Tournaments.....I could do without.
