We brought back the same team from last year minus depth at the Center position. This is a decent team, but no way is the team as good as some on here expected them to be

brings back all five starters, you expect to be better and be good, especially when a talent like Augustus is essentially a new player to the team.
As of now though, Augustus is irrelevant.
But it doesn't excuse losing to Rider, Richmond, and WKU.
We were certainly more talented than WKU tonight.

It happens. We have no inside scoring, or inside depth, and it is and will continue to kill us throughout the season
these guys jump on here and talk about how we didn't deserve to win.. It's getting ridiculous.. We can't even ***** about the stuff that we do want to ***** about because we have idiots on here calling for heads after a game at midseason...
I meant no inside scoring overall. Up against more physical teams Varnado needs knocked around a good bit down there
when you return your Top 6 players from a 20+ win, SEC tourney championship team, you expect to beat Rider, Richmond and WKU.
The biggest surprise to me is Dee Bost. I expected him to make a big jump from his freshmen to sophomore year, but it hasn't happend.

I wouldn't be shocked if we win the SEC West. It's a horrible division other than Ole Miss and I'm not sold on Ole Miss. Our RPI is shot to hell though and there's not much we can do about that. </p>
