Why do you hate Lebron?

I personally like Wade more, but I respect LJ. "The Decision" **** was awful, but I understand why he left Cleveland. He was putting up great numbers there, and they were getting nowhere. In my opinion, that's not his fault. One superstar can't win a championship. Its up to the administration to bring in the supporting cast. The Cavs weren't doing it. The guy is a competitor and therefore wants a ring. Miami was his best chance to get it.

1. The decision. Seems to be an excuse a lot of people use, but tell me the last time any player in any sport went on an hour special to tell the world he was changing teams.

3. Gets all the calls. This is true with all superstars, but especially him. Oh, and he's never committed a foul, ever. Just ask the panicked expression of disbelief on his face after every call against him.

2. Talcum powder thing. There is no better example of a "LOOK AT ME" player in the NBA.

4. He's a Yankees and Cowboys fan. Oh, and UK basketball. Really? I'm a Cowboys fan, but that's because my family's from there. If your favorite teams include 2 or more of: [Lakers, Cowboys, Yankees, UK basketball, Notre Dame football] you are a terrible 17ing person.

On top of all that, he's extremely immature, and most of his non-basketball comments leave you wondering. That plus his comments towards Bush (yeah, im sure lebron knows tons about politics) really make me think he's completely incapable of independent thought.

I don't hate a guy who has more hype out high school than anyone ever and lived up to it. I don't hate an athlete that takes advantage of his financial opportunity with class instead of blowing cash and getting in trouble. I don't hate him for going to a town where he might be able to win a championship. I don't hate him for not going to the basket last night, but WTF was he doing out there?

I don't hate LeBron in fact I used to enjoy watching him play up until that last game against the Magic a couple of years ago when he seemed like he quit on his team and then stormed out without shaking hands with Magic. Just the other day he said he was glad to be on a team of guys that don't "die in the moment" which was clearly a shot at his Cleveland teammates. Bad timing for a guy who is busy choking himself.

Some of my dislike for him is not really his fault. I loathe the "chosen one" and we are all "witness" talk.

LeBron is a great player. So far I put him in the class with Charles Barkley, Karl Malone, and Patrick Ewing right now. All were awesome players that were just below the Magic/Bird/Jordan level.

I dont hate Lebron. I hate his fans, similar to the way i root against the Cowboys. Lebron fans hate Kobe but love Lebron for doing the same thing. They said Kobe couldnt win without Shaq and then when we won 2 without Shaq, they said Lebron was still netter because Kobe couldnt do it alone. At least Kobe brought a superstar to him but Lebron actually goes to join another established superstar;s team but Lebron fans dont see anything wrong with that. They said Kobe was pathetic for giving up on his team and disappearing in Game 7 against Phx after not taking any shots in the first half but they dont say anything when Lebron disappears in big games 9see last year vs the Celtics and the Finals vs Mavs. Lebron is a great player so its hard to hate him. He's arrogant and Hollywood but so is Kobe. Kobe just seemed to grow out of it somewhat and I think Lebron will too. Somebody just needs to tell that to his fans. Until then, Im rooting against him.

I know everyone hates the Heat, but I can't help but have a huge amount of respect for his game.

Both Decision and Dion talked the same game. Both made media and most of the league think that the balance of power rested in that player's hands.

But Dion backed up the talk.

Decision has yet to make a difference.

If you can thump your chest, call your shot, and deliver - then you da man. If not, you're just another annoying *******.

And don't get me started on LeFlop. That's just sickening and shameful.

Look, if LeBron sprained his gyner tomorrow and never plays again, I wouldn't shed a tear. But dude's GREAT.

Neon Deion was damn good, but he wasn't legendary. If LBJ doesn't play another game, he is legendary.

...the brought home the rings, which Decision hasn't done yet. The series isn't over, but so far he hasn't been a difference-maker.

Deion played 1 (rarely 2) positions out of 22 (not counting special teams). Lebron plays 1 of 5. That's totally the same comparison.

You might as well say Jorge Posada is the same as LeBron.

On a related note, Rod Woodson and Ronnie Lott have something to say about Deion being the best all-time at his position.

He showed his *** off at the end of the games when they beat the Celtics in the playoffs this year. While he has stormed off the court after losing a series in the previous years. It took him joining up with D. Wade and now he is disrespecting veterans that have championships and have beaten him in the past. Act like a champ and act like you've been there before.

then having that pre-season video.....

it's being magnified by the fact they are playing Dirk... Dirk turned down millions to stay with Dallas..the team that made him a millionaire.....

it's called loyalty vs being a crybaby *****....

this series is Luke Skywalker vs darth vader...

Heat fans were the same kids at the movie theatre pulling for the Dark Side...

You cannot compare a cornerback's contributions to a starter/Super Star in basketball. No one has to engage a cornerback and if are lucky enough to have a shutdown on your team then great - but it's like having a great left fielder and as good as Teddy Ballgame was - he never won a ring (but was still the best hitter in my opinion and would start left for me in my dream line up and bat 3rd)

I don't hate him but he has the potential to be better than Jordan but he never will be. He can't hit the clutch shot.
