Dak should start and split time with Doty.
Because he is not a D1 QB. and a back up W/R if you check his plays from the QB position except The NC game playing one of the worst defenses in Football, he is close to minus yards gained per play. Doty is Redshirting. Plus if he was not he should start a game. Thanks for the daily DaK post maybe one day that will sink in to those daily posters.

He asked "What Level"
He was being a jerk. I was being humorous. Game coaching no matter the level is still game coaching and making decisions on the fly. Over a thousand games. 12 year old baseball. Never claimed to be an expert but coaching in that many games I do know a little bit about the “pulse” of the game. Never claimed to be a know it all.

Every time he’s the quarterback good things happen. His pass completion percentage is insane and he actually throws the ball downfield. He can run the read option and he is a threat with his legs if he keeps it. When he is a receiver we almost never throw to him so what is he gaining (what does the team gain) by not playing quarterback? The Duke’s Mayo Bowl was not a fluke and his performance was perfection. Rattler hasn’t risen to the occasion.
He has started the last 3 games since coming back from the injury.

If it works for a game as a surprise, what's the one game you use it on?

A game against UT or CU that we most likely lose badly anyway, or the bowl game where you get to end on a good note and get some momentum for the offseason?
Kind of like last season where we had the supposed mojo after the mayo bowl and even brought in a 5 star transfer QB during the off-season. Then we hear the proverbial “we have weapons all over the field” not just from fans but our fearless OC as well. The mojo was overflowing then reality hit us square in the face, again!

I have no problem whatsoever with DK playing QB for multiple series this game, I honestly think he has been horribly misused for the majority of his career at Carolina and that he is a natural (dual threat) QB with way more talent than he has had the opportunity to display. The truly sad fact is that multiple, really good, offensive players we have this year have been woefully misused because of our offensive "scheme" or lack thereof... With a good COLLEGE scheme and an effective play caller we could have been much more productive on offense using any number of combinations of our offensive players this year, and probably would have won at least 1 if not 2 more games so far. Instead, our offense has been simply offensive. GO COCKS ! We have greater things ahead in the coming years - I am sure of that.

Misguided.
Yep, I am misguided alright. Now that we have seen what he can do at the end of the season, I think he will tell you he was not comfortable in the system through the early part of the season. He was not effective, for what ever reason, thus a large part of the O’s problem. I guess you are the misguided one.

Clueless.
