but a) Shay Hodge is not the best receiver in the SEC and b) it really doesn't matter at all where you play college ball as far as getting to the league. I know you'd like to believe otherwise.

Seriously, our program has been the worst in the SEC over the last decade and we have the same number of players as Ole miss in the NFL. And all but about 5 of ours played for us in the last 7 years.

So either Im right and college has no bearing on NFL or your program has really underacheived at putting people in the NFL.

And I agree - which is why I said we had upside. But, most recruits make their decisions based on past performance, not potential performance. All we have at this point is potential to be an effective passing offense. My point is, until we start putting up, we can't expect to big time WR recruits to want to come to MSU.

so once the argument about putting more WRs in the nfl was shutdown and proved wrong, he switches to players (period) in the NFL. then that is shotdown and proved wrong and he goes to....

Actually, preseason No. 8 and 10, not No. 4, and yes we were overrated, as were a lot of teams. That's the way it goes every year.

No, we didn't beat a powerhouse, but we beat a solid football team in a good bowl game. I'll take it, and you would too.

This whole thread is funny. U dogs just keep saying to yourselves all this crap about Ole Miss and WRs. The simple fact is, Sanders WILL be at Ole Miss, and next year the top 2 WRs in state WILL come to Ole Miss. Go ahead and enjoy your talk here, but it won't change a thing. HOTTY TODDY dogs.
