So if it hit 119 degrees in Pa, you wouldn't bat an eye? That is the equivalent of what just happened in England.....not Phoenix, but England. Highs of 74 on average in July there and 104 is a bit out of that curve. Pa. is usually averages a high of 89 in July and we have all had 100 degree days if we lived in the Northeast, but 119 degrees in the Northeast and it too would be newsworthy.
