I think the strategy on the portal should be to stay away from BAMa, UGA, AUB, etc castoffs and go after the best player from a LaTech, Troy, Texas State, etc. There is a reason in most cases a player from an upper tier SEC program is in the portal.
You can make an exception for someone like a Stone Blanton who has Mississippi ties and may have made a bad decision coming out of HS.

Well he never played at Auburn before he bailed there either. One possibility is he is lazy and doesn't like being pushed or coached up. The other possibility is our defensive coaches are missing all the players off cause he ain't the only one bailing out. He probly doesn't think he needs to practice hard. Practice ? Practice ?
