They don't know what they're doing for sure. But I think they knew he was leaving, probably by mutual decision. No reason not to keep him on scholarship for a couple of months. Not like you could replace him anyway.

Everyone wants MSU to be successful in football.

There is a difference. Same reason many college freshman don’t see their sophomore year. They wanted a degree.. they just weren’t serious about it.

Wanting something and getting into the weeds and getting it done is two completely different things.

The past two years have been the lazy way out on practically everything. Promoting no experience from within in 23 and hiring who you know for 2024. Zero negotiating or pushback on a terrible schedule in a rebuild year. Same ole same ole gameday. This costs too much.. this takes too much effort..this is the way it’s always been done…
