I had Leonhard as the favorite to take over at Nebraska. May have to amend that to the favorite to take over at Wisconsin.
But, man, I didn't see that coming.
I think Bronco Mendenhall ends up at Nebraska.I had Leonhard as the favorite to take over at Nebraska. May have to amend that to the favorite to take over at Wisconsin.

I don’t think coaches really have that luxury these days with the portal and 85 scholarships. I’m pretty sure for much of Joe’s career there was a 100 scholarship limit?Joe would have. For better or worse it’s how we got kids like Bruce Branch and Eric Sturdifen. But - yeah, if it’s likely a done deal that the 5* brother will follow his brother, you do it IMO.
Why on earth would he take that job?I think Bronco Mendenhall ends up at Nebraska.
The guy was being respectful. Why the snarky reply? Hopefully your day gets better.....Relax. I just returned from State College. Now I'm trying to update various threads, while also watching a DVR of the Eagles game. Sometimes when copying various tweets, for various threads, I forget which thread I'm in when posting.
With all due respect
I know their Dad Todd from years ago and can tell you mom and dad were walking fine line between letting him make own decision and pushing dear old state. In the end he wanted to play with his brother. So in a way not recruiting older brother was a big reason. Not blaming CJF just giving reality of the situation. Doubt any of that changes with Chryst out.So, you’re saying Franklin shouldn’t have recruited the brother just to get Nolan?
It is a surprise for sure .I had Leonhard as the favorite to take over at Nebraska. May have to amend that to the favorite to take over at Wisconsin.

He was caught night putting with the daughter of the dean. There must be something else going on behind the scenes. Wins and losses wouldn't justify his firing.
They could have done that after the year.I would think Wiscy wants Leonard to now grab the job and make it his.

That game yesterday was Bielema's , "how you like me now" moment.

Actually....maybe not....but I saw something online that was pretty intersting....I will paraphraseSo an ugly loss to Illinois at home is the straw that broke the camel's back. We'd never tolerate something like that either. (oh, wait...)
Seems like that body of work would earn him a chance to fix it. UW powers to be obviously didn’t think so.He has actually had a good run at Wisky. This is a surprise. For Wisky’s sake hope it doesn’t go the way it went for Nebby after they got rid of Solich.
